Hey guys,
Been awhile but wanted to give an update on Dad Talk and the Substack. I’m incredibly proud of the projects that we have put together here. At the same time I have not been able to do much with it in awhile and my hands are so tied with current projects I felt led to make this message for you.
I will forever be Dad Talk and fight for fathers rights, However that comes with many challenges. We do not get the funding or resources that other issues do nor the attention. It is a constant battle of trying to bring these issues to the forefront and at the same time I have to provide for my family and its rough.
I’ve got my hands in many projects right now so I haven’t been able to dedicate the time towards this as I was in the beginning. However there is paid subscribers on here which is why I want to make sure you know this and can do something about it. When you see charges that is coming from Substack and from when you initially signed up.
I do not have anything to do with that being processed nor anything with the billing. If you want to cancel that you will have to do so manually so that you are not getting charged. I do not feel right with people getting charges while i’m not able to keep the content on here like I originally planned.
I have about 5-6 documentaries that have been shot and need editing. The truth of it is I ran out of money. I did my very best to carry the banner as long as I could and eventually exhausted all resources I had. I still plan on carrying forward with those but until something changes I do not see it in the immediate future.
Thank you for your support and it truly means the world to me. The projects i’m involved with now I hope become a vessel where I can turn around and get whats needed to bring these projects back into the spotlight. Dads are just as important as moms, they are needed, and I hope one day this cause can get the attention it deserves.
With that said in the meantime the social media is still operating daily and I have a team that takes care of the day to day operations with that. Please keep looking back to see when we can get this cause revved up like we have always dreamed and hoped it could be.
Much love,
Eric Carroll
