Kevin Costner, the famous Yellowstone star, is having a hard time processing his emotions amid his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner's, divorce filing. After their 19-year-old marriage ended, both Costner and Baumgartner have requested joint custody of their three children: Cayden, Hayes, and Grace. However, the divorce doesn't seem to be a smooth one, causing Costner added stress, along with his high-stress project Horizon. Sources shared that Costner is busy talking to lawyers non-stop and is going through an emotionally devastating time.
Moreover, according to Costner's lawyer Laura Wasser, Baumgartner has refused to vacate the actor’s mansion, violating a prenup agreement that states she must leave the mansion after filing for divorce. Adding more complications, she withdrew $95,000 from Costner’s bank account without any prior notice, which he claimed in his legal declaration. Later, Baumgartner also requested an emergency meeting with a judge to address the claims made by her estranged husband.
Kevin Costner is facing a tough time in his personal and professional life. The actor is trying his best to balance his work and family life, but the separation proceedings and conflicts around the properties are causing unwanted stress.
The legal papers highlight that Kevin has no legal basis to demand the eviction of his wife and children from their residence, it remains an issue of utmost importance to Christine.
What strikes me about all of the media surrounding this Kevin Costner divorce... It all surrounds the mother's request for enormous child support. But nobody is talking about whether or not Kevin will end up with primary custody of the kids. Everybody seems to have skipped that part. Step 1 is figuring out where the kids will live... But we see the obvious gender biased presumption that, by default, the mother will have custody.
