Lindsay Clancy, a 32-year-old mother from Massachusetts, is currently facing charges including two counts of homicide, three counts of strangulation, and three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon. She is accused of killing her three children—a 7-month-old son named Callan, a 5-year-old daughter named Cora, and a 3-year-old son named Dawson—by strangling them on January 24. Clancy then attempted to take her own life by jumping out of a window in her family home.
Recently, Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin J. Reddington, disclosed that she is now paralyzed from the waist down and will remain so permanently, as stated in her medical records and discussions with doctors. According to reports, Callan initially survived the strangulation but later passed away at the hospital.

Clancy's next court appearance, originally scheduled for July 25, has been postponed as she has been transferred to Tewksbury State Hospital. Reddington has argued that Clancy's postpartum depression and the potential for postpartum psychosis were exacerbated by the multiple medications she was prescribed to treat her depression and anxiety following the birth of her third child. At the time of the incident, Clancy was on leave from her position as a labor and delivery nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital.
I cannot comprehend how anyone can have thoughts about killing their children, let alone following through with it! How could anyone do that???? Prayers up for those children.
