I came here from the "Saving james" documentary -- as it closely aligns with my own personal battle i've been struggling with.

So sad to hear about that man. We are hearing more cases like that every day.

I’m here as a founding follower! I’m a divorced Dad with 3 kiddos whom I love and adore and that love and adore me. However, my ex is trying to destroy that. Always here to support Eric and the amazing work he does.

I am an Australian grandmother who sees the destroying of families and weakening of society through taking out our men and demonising them in family courts etc worldwide. My son and our family are alienated from my grandson 3 and a half years now and my so is being abused and traumatised by the courts through using his ex s mental health and vindictiveness to keep the court dollars flowing.. been following dad talk on and off for a while .

Thanks for supporting your friend. As a dad who went thru this, I know the whole experience is gut-wrenching. You feel so alone. Having friends I could count on to share my frustration was priceless. And it was not easy for my friends to hear me, week after week. Many could not handle going down into the abyss with me. So thanks for supporting your friend.

I've been following Dadtalk for 5years, I am the Deputy Executive Director of The Gabriella Boyd Memorial Foundation. My beautiful stepdaughter was murdered 5 years ago April 28th at 2.5 years old by that monster who shouldn't carry the title mother. Not only was my stepdaughter failed by the one person who should've protected her from harm but she was also failed by The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department who failed to enforce the court order, they handed it to her basically handing her the weapon to do the worst thing ever, she was failed the the 2 District Attorney's who wouldn't know their elbow from their !*&&! We got justice for Gabriella by putting that scum away in prison, we are currently still going thru the appellate court because everyone scratches eachother back and the judge basically said the police did a good job, same for the 2 Assistant District Attorney's. My husband was in family court, his first lawyer basically picked sides and he was screwed over, we found an amazing attorney who til this day has remained by our side, he argued with police and District Attorney's the night before because they refused to remove her from that monsters hand. We started our nonprofit organization in her memory and honor but also to help other parents who are fighting for their right to be in their childs life and are unfortunately dealing with the corrupt family court system. This is a pain like no other, even tho 5 years have gone by it still feels like yesterday that my husband Steve called me to tell me our little girl was gone.

I am so sorry this happened to you and your family. And I totally understand how when you combine the family court and the police department and the district attorney, you just have a string of organizations that scratch each other's back, don't pay attention to the best interests of the child, and too often just go through the motions.

Hi everybody. I'm just writing to share about my recent struggles. I am currently creating a segment of my docu-series called "How to tell if your family court judge is incompetent or gender biased". And it is soooo hard. I've been reviewing the transcripts of my case to show the pattern of incompetence by my judge. It brings back so many terrible memories. I realized that bad memories are not easily forgotten. But I have been powering through it and hopefully will release it soon.

I saw the post that said Dad Talk has the right to broadcast the John Mast trial in August. I am glad that media coverage will be done by you, who can expose what really happens to dads like John Mast. Dads Matter.

I am a father of 2, have expanded standard, and am paying $1850 in child support, and an ex who is capable being a senior teacher but does not need to. The evil of the current family court system will continue unless someone stands up to oppose it.

What is an expanded standard schedule? What does it look like?

I see. So it's 5 out of every 14 days. That's just 1 small tweak away from 7 out of 14 days...but they need to make sure they get their child support awards, so they cut you down to 5 days. And let me guess...they tell you it's "expanded", so you should feel special for getting the privilege of 5 days out of every 14 with your kid....because they would normally give you only 4.
